ICF goes 4-for-4 with quartet of HHS contract wins

ICF International Inc. will continue to provide technical and training assistance to the Health and Human Services Department having won three recompete contracts and one new award that have a total combined value of more than $60 million over five years.

The contracts call for ICF International to provide state-based training and technical assistance services to HHS’ Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start, the company announced today.

The three recompete contracts support states in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northeast regions and effectively replace ICF-held contracts in those regions that recently expired.

HHS rebid the trio of awards as new leadership redesigned their technical support structure, the announcement states.

The new contract represents an additional win for ICF by expanding its work to support states in the Southeast.

Under the contracts, ICF will continue to provide training and technical consulting assistance, conference facilitation and collaboration, and program management services.

The goals include enhancing the quality of services that children and families receive to improve children’s abilities and circumstances as they prepare to enter school.

ICF continues to hold an additional contract to provide training and technical assistance to Head Start American Indian and Alaska Native grantees. HHS did not rebid this contract, the announcement states.

ICF International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 66 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
