SRA names SVP to expand civilian agency business opps

Stephen Tolbert has been named senior vice president of the Health and Civil Services Sector at SRA International Inc., where he will be responsible for leading business development and program execution across federal civilian agencies.

Stephen Tolbert has been named senior vice president of the Health and Civil Services Sector at SRA International Inc.

Tolbert, who will report to SRA President and Chief Executive Officer Stan Sloane, will be responsible for leading all business development and program execution across federal civilian agencies.

Tolbert has 27 years of industry experience. He joined SRA in 2003 and served in various leadership roles at the company, most recently as vice president and director of SRA’s Financial and Enterprise Solutions business unit.

While at SRA, he has also been program manager for the National Archives and Records Administration’s Information Technology Support Services program and vice president and business program manager for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. infrastructure services contract, SRA’s largest program.

Before joining SRA, Tolbert was CEO and president of Global Systems and Strategies Inc., a consulting firm that provides IT and information security services to the federal government.

SRA, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 30 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
