Acquisition Solutions formally adopts new name

Acquisition Solutions Inc., a public-sector consulting company, has formally changed its name today to ASI Government to reflect its intention to specialize in performance management solutions for the government.

Reed said at the time that ICOR Partners would broaden her company’s footprint in the civilian government market because “ICOR perfectly complements our expertise in acquisition, program management and knowledge management.”

Acquisition Solutions Inc., a public-sector consulting company, has formally changed its name today to ASI Government to reflect its intention to specialize in performance management solutions for the government.

“The name ASI Government reflects our firm’s commitment to a broader array of research, consulting, training and tools to help government agencies deliver better results,” said ASI President and CEO Anne Reed, in a statement dated Sept. 1.

The company first announced its intention to make the change in July.

“We’ve made significant investments over the last few years to augment our industry-leading acquisition practice with additional capabilities in complementary disciplines such as organizational development, IT management, and program and portfolio management,” she added.

“With this broader capability, we have a unique ability to integrate the management disciplines required by today's public-sector leaders to achieve their program performance objectives,” Reed said.

In January, ASI purchased the majority of ICOR Partners LLC, a firm that provides strategy, transformation and business improvement consulting to government organizations.
