NCI will help DISA make BRAC move to Fort Meade
NCI Inc. will assist the Defense Information Systems Agency in its BRAC relocation efforts to Fort Meade, Md., under a one-year task order that could be worth as much as $83.7 million.
NCI Inc. will assist the Defense Information Systems Agency in its base realignment and closure (BRAC) relocation efforts to Fort Meade, Md., under a one-year task order that could be worth as much as $83.7 million if all options are exercised.
The competitively awarded task order calls for NCI to support the Army Information Systems Engineering Command's Enterprise Systems Engineering Directorate in their mission to relocate DISA’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence/Information Technology to a new combined headquarters at the suburban Maryland installation.
The support includes detailed design, procurement, implementation, integration, test and acceptance for common level services including administrative telephone, secure voice, unclassified and classified local area networks, and audio-visual services.
In addition, NCI will provide basic planning and transport services for the relocation of mission-unique and test and development systems from their current locations to Fort Meade.
The period of performance runs from Feb. 22 to June 30, 2011.
