Fluor hires former OFPP administrator as head of compliance

Deidre "Dee" Lee left the Professional Services Council at the end of 2009 to become head of compliance at a major engineering and professional services firm, a spokesman for the company said today.

Lee is a former administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). She joined the PSC in June as executive vice president of federal affairs and operations. She left the trade group in January to become executive director of compliance at Fluor Government Group. At Fluor, Lee will oversee its compliance and federal cost and pricing functions, according to a company press release.

“As Fluor’s work across the federal government has grown over the last several years, we wanted to make sure that we maintain our focus on effectively and compliantly delivering our services to our customers,” said Bruce Stanski, president of Fluor Government Group.

Lee joined PSC, an association that represent professional services companies that work in the government, in June.

Before that, Lee worked as the OFPP's administrator, the Defense Department’s director of defense acquisition and procurement policy, a senior acquisition leader at the General Services Administration and at NASA, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s deputy director of management. She was also with the defense and intelligence business unit at Compusearch, which she joined in 2008.
