State’s Bureau of Resource Management awarded STG a Worldwide Agencywide Locally Engaged Staff contract, known as WALES, to design, develop and implement a payroll system for more than 90,000 U.S. and Foreign Service National staff and Foreign Service annuitants, according to a company announcement dated today.
STG’s team includes subcontractors Oracle Consulting and Buchanan & Edwards, an information technology and professional services company.
STG brings its technical capabilities, understanding of State’s technical environment, and proven capability to achieve the desired results in financial service delivery, a company announcement said.
Oracle Consulting brings its powerful Oracle/PeopleSoft payroll solution. B&E is an 8(a) small-business company with expertise in converting data from State’s legacy system to the new PeopleSoft system database, the announcement said.
STG, of Reston, Va., ranks No. 94 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
