CACI launches technical support for Navy center

CACI International Inc. has received a $19.7 million contract modification to provide technical support and other services to the Naval Air Warfare Center.

CACI International Inc. has received a $19.7 million contract modification to provide technical support and other services to the Naval Air Warfare Center.

Under terms of the modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract, the contractor’s subsidiary CACI Systems Inc., of Chantilly, Va., will provide technical support, engineering services and supplies to the Special Communications Requirements Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

This modification also includes support for various Navy, Army, Air Force, Special Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance electronic systems, according to a Defense Department announcement made Sept. 15.

The work will be performed in Lexington Park and St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2010.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
