TCS lands Air Force cross-domain contract

Trusted Computer Solutions Inc. will provide cryptology assistance to the Air Force under a two-year contract worth $2.1 million.

The company, based in Herndon, Va., develops cross-domain and cybersecurity solutions. Its Professional Services Team will support the Air Force’s Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG).

The group provides highly specialized security support for a wide range of military and nonmilitary agencies.

TCS’ Professional Services Team will help CPSG launch a government-sponsored management office and provide the framework and processes to support cross-domain solutions.

The contract also calls for the creation of a lab environment in which to design and test cross-domain solutions and facilitate collaboration to generate interest in those solutions.

TCS will use its SecureOffice Trusted Gateway and other cross-domain solutions to help CPSG securely transfer sensitive and classified information among various networks.

SecureOffice Trusted Gateway provides rapid, multidirectional transfer of data at various security levels — unclassified, secret, secret releasable and top secret – and among sensitive information networks.

The team will also assist the CPSG management office with the certification and accreditation process.
