Indus Corp. is providing information technology security support to the Treasury Department under a task order that has an estimated total value of $4.3 million over four years.

Under this single-award task order, Indus is providing IT security and Federal Information Security Management Act compliance support to Treasury’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

FISMA imposes a set of processes that must be followed for all information systems used or operated by a federal agency or by a contractor or other organization on behalf of a federal agency, company officials explained.

Indus is the major subcontractor on the award to Coact Inc., a service-disabled veteran-owned small business in Columbia, Md.

Indus has worked with Coact before to provide IT security and FISMA compliance support for other federal agencies. "This task order expands our broad federal civilian client base into the Department of Treasury,” said Indus President Carleton Jones.
