Tyler wins property assessment software deal

Tyler Technologies Inc. will upgrade the property tax software used by Bucks County, Pa., under a new contract.

Tyler Technologies Inc. will upgrade the property tax software used by Bucks County, Pa., under a $2.4 million contract.

Under the contract, Tyler will furnish the county with Web-based software to administer and manage property valuation data. The deal
covers software licenses, professional services, and maintenance and support, company officials said.

The county will have access to modules for administration assessment, computer-assisted mass appraisal, tax billing and
collection, and inquiry and appeals tracking, the officials added.

Bucks County, located near Philadelphia, has about 610,000 residents and is one of the nation’s most densely populated
counties.

Tyler, of Dallas, provides information management services to local governments.
