Amdex to do regulatory reviews at Fort Detrick

Amdex Corp. will provide regulatory compliance review support to the Army under a five-year contract worth $7.2 million.

The Silver Spring, Md., information technology and professional services company will provide protocol review services in the areas of human subjects protection, executive administrative assistance and project management support for the Office of Research Protections at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Md.

Fort Detrick is an Army Medical Command installation that houses the Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and various other activities. The on-site medical community conducts biomedical research and development, medical material management, and global medical communications.

Founded in 1987, Amdex provides IT services to civilian government agencies and the Defense Department.
