Six win Navy education and training contracts
Six government contractors have won contracts potentially worth a total of $256.1 million from the Navy to provide education and training services.
The companies will provide education and training products and support services for the Navy's Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education Enterprise program. The Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center in Pensacola, Fla., will oversee the contract work.Lockheed Martin ranks , Raytheon ranks and General Dynamics ranks on Washington Technology's 2008 of the largest federal government prime contractors.

Six government contractors have won contracts potentially worth a total of $256.1 million from the Navy to provide education and training services.
The winners are EG&G Technical Services Inc., General Dynamics Information Technology, Lockheed Martin Corp., Technical Software Services Inc., Raytheon Technical Services Co. and Carley Corp., the Defense Department said Aug. 22.
The estimated value to each company if all options are exercised are:
- $46.3 million to General Dynamics IT
- $45.9 million to Carley Corp.
- $43.1 million to Technical Software Services Inc.
- $42.6 million to Raytheon Technology Services Co.
- $41.5 million to EG&G Technical Services Inc.
- $36.7 million to Lockheed Martin Corp.
