KBR names DeNicola CFO

Kevin DeNicola is replacing Chip Schneider as CFO at engineering, construction and services company KBR Inc.

Kevin DeNicola, previously chief financial officer at Lyondell Chemical Co., has been named CFO at engineering, construction and services company KBR Inc. He replaces interim CFO Chip Schneider.

DeNicola, who began working in his new position June 18, will be responsible for oversight of KBR's treasury, accounting and finance, investor relations, tax and internal audit operations.

He was employed as Houston-based Lyondell's CFO for six years. His 16-year career at Lyondell also included stints as vice president of corporate development and director of investor relations.

DeNicola holds an M.B.A. from Rice University and an M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. He also is a certified public accountant.

KBR, of Houston, ranks No. 7 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
