The Army has issued a follow-on request for information for a Lean Six Sigma program tool that would be used to align process improvement efforts.

The department is seeking information about a Web-based, commercial application that already has been developed and implemented by the government or one being used in the commercial sector that can be adapted with minor modifications.

The Army is not interested in systems not already in use by a commercial or government customer.

The program tool must be able to show the strategic linkage between organizational objectives and improvement projects in addition to addressing 15 other requirements.

The department also is interested in the skills and level of effort required to support the program tool during its life cycle.

The RFI contains a detailed questionnaire. Reponses are due July 8.
