The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) posted a notice Tuesday stating that the Intelligence Information, Command and Control Equipment and Enhancement follow-on acquisition will be conducted instead by DIA.
AFMC advised vendors interested in competing for the opportunity to consider DIA's Solution for the Information Technology Enterprise contract.
General Dynamics Corp. was the incumbent contractor on the four-year ICE2 contract initially awarded in 2003. It was valued at $1.95 billion.
The Air Force intended to recompete the contract for services that support the Defense Department global intelligence and command-and-control operations, but it never issued the request for proposals that had been scheduled for fall 2007.
