ATS wins Coast Guard support work

ATS Corp. will continue to support regional examinations in support of the Coast Guard's National Maritime Center.

ATS Corp. will continue to support regional examinations in support of the Coast Guard's National Maritime Center under a 10-month, $3.1 million contract.

Under the terms of the contract, ATS will provide administrative and technical review skills for the National Maritime Licensing and Documentation Program.

The company will help process commercial mariner applications for merchant mariner documents, licenses and certificates of registry. It also will assist in processing standards of training, certification and watch-keeping endorsements.

The contract covers 13 of the 17 Regional Examination Centers around the country.

The agreement is one of several that ATS holds for the program with the Coast Guard National Maritime Center's office in Martinsburg, W.Va.

ATS of McLean, Va., supplies various information technology services, including software and systems development, systems integration, infrastructure support and outsourcing, information sharing and consulting.
