Amcom picks up 911 technology

Communications software company Amcom Software acquired Telident 911 Solutions, the enhanced 911 products of Teltronics Inc.

Communications software company Amcom Software of Eden Prairie, Minn., acquired Telident 911 Solutions, the enhanced 911 products of Teltronics Inc.

The Telident E911 products will integrate with Amcom's suite of emergency communications and management solutions, the Eden Prairie.

Adding Telident to Amcom's product suite will expand its E911 capabilities and help customers pinpoint the source of 911 calls within their facilities with greater speed and accuracy.

Amcom's suite of communications and incident management tools helps organizations respond to and manage emergency incidents.

"Not only does this software help protect people, but it allows organizations to ensure compliance with national, state and local emergency communications requirements," said Amcom Chief Financial Officer Dan Mayleben.

Amcom software is used by more than 1,400 corporations and organizations in health care, education and government.
