PMC, a unit of Aviel Systems Inc. of McLean, Va., said it has been awarded two task orders by ICE. The task orders have a combined value of $25 million.

One of the task orders is for PMC to continue and expand its help to the agency to implement the Atlas program, which is the agency's largest information technology program. Started in 2004, Atlas includes updates of hardware such as servers, routers and storage devices as well as software for database management, operating systems and network management.

The other task order allows PMC to continue to support ICE's common computing environment, in which users are migrating to common computing platforms. The company also will provide new support to the Engineering Division of the ICE Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Among its activities, PMC will establish and operate project management offices for the engineering division, said John Chapel, Aviel's president.

The company will provide program support to the engineering office to assist in enterprise IT modernization initiatives, including providing help with budget tracking and formulation, contracts and acquisition support, scheduling and project tracking, he said.
