ManTech International Inc. completed its $76.5 million acquisition of McDonald Bradley Inc., a provider of service-oriented architecture, data interoperability and information assurance services and solutions.

McDonald Bradley brings ManTech a position on the Homeland Security Department's Eagle contract, a multiple-award vehicle DHS is using to build its information technology infrastructure. The Defense Intelligence Agency also is McDonald Bradley's largest customer. About 45 percent of the company's employees have security clearances.

BB&T Capital Markets-Windsor Group LLC was McDonald Bradley's financial adviser on the acquisition.

With the deal, ManTech said it expects 2008 revenue to reach $1.7 billion, compared to $1.4 billion for 2007.

"We are well-positioned to deliver strong growth in revenue and earnings in 2008 based on our strategic positioning at the center of the national-security mission," said George Pederson, chairman and chief executive officer at ManTech.

The McDonald Bradley acquisition is ManTech's second of 2007. The company paid $170 million in May for SRS Technologies Inc. of Newport Beach, Calif.

ManTech, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 31 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
