Two companies won spots on the General Services
Administration's eight-year, $1.8 billion Washington
Interagency Telecommunications Systems 3 contract to
provide telecommunications services to federal agencies
in the Washington area.

Winners: Level 3 Communications LLC, of Broomfield,
Colo., and Verizon Business Network Services Inc., of
Ashburn, Va.

Two companies won contracts from the Naval Sea
Systems Command for Phase II development, production
and support of the Common Enterprise Display
Systems' display consoles, which offer human and
machine interfaces to ship computers, and are to be
used on the DDG destroyer and the Aegis missile
cruiser.

Winners: DRS C3 Systems LLC won a $63 million contract,
and General Dynamics Advanced Information
Systems won an $83 million contract.

Value: $25.8 million over 4 years

Agency: Navy

Details: Continue operating and maintaining the Naval
Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station
Pacific facilities in Hawaii.
