Eagle glides into $412M Army logistics deal

Eagle Group International has won a contract to support the Army's Field Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Stewart, Ga.

Eagle Group International LLC has won a contract worth up to $412 million over five years to support the Army's Field Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Stewart, Ga.

Under the contract, Eagle Group will provide multiple logistics, maintenance, administrative and management services to support readiness and logistics engineering initiatives.

For Hunter Army Airfield, which also is part of the greater Fort Stewart installation, the company will be responsible for maintaining various Army air and ground communications-electronics systems and electronic warfare weapon systems.

Eagle Group expects to assign more than 600 employees to the project.

Eagle Group of Atlanta specializes in logistics, health care, information technology and base operations support. The company's clients include the State and Defense departments, General Services Administration and the FBI.
