Serco names Addeo COO

Serco Inc. has named Louis Addeo chief operating officer to oversee human capital management, logistics and engineering, transportation and program management.

Until recently, Addeo was managing director of Aptus Management and Consulting Corp., advising early-stage businesses on business development, growth strategies, financing, mergers and acquisitions and divestment.

Addeo previously was president of AT&T Government Solutions from 2003 to 2006 and has more than 30 years of experience with AT&T in information technology, homeland security and federal contracting.

At AT&T Government Solutions, he led a growth program that generated more than $1 billion in contracts and revenue of more than $1.6 billion, including major contract wins at civilian, defense and intelligence agencies, including the Agriculture and Justice departments and the Federal Trade Commission.

Serco of Vienna, Va., designs and delivers engineering, human capital management, logistics, transportation and information technology and business transformation services to the federal government, military and state and local governments.
