SRA International Inc. has completed the acquisition of Constella Group LLC, a privately held global provider of health consulting services. Terms were not disclosed.

Constella of Durham, N.C., supports a broad range of health missions through its work in health sciences, international and product development, and through its collaboration with experts in local and national governments, academia, nongovernmental organizations and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Last year, in a move furthering its goal of building a global platform for contract drug and device development services, Constella acquired Origin Pharmaceuticals, a U.K.-based international contract research organization with 100 employees, and Lineberry Research Associates of Research Triangle Park, N.C., a contract research organization with 75 employees.

Constella's reported revenue for calendar year 2006 was about $169 million.

SRA President and Chief Executive Officer Stan Sloane said the global health market represents a growing area of demand for professional solutions and is a key focus of the company's long-term strategy.

SRA of Fairfax, Va., a provider of technology and strategic consulting services to the federal government, ranks No. 33 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
