Lockheed names Land to tech post

Lockheed Martin Corp. has named Haden Land vice president of technology for its Enterprise Solutions and Services unit.

Lockheed Martin Corp. has named Haden Land vice president of technology for its Enterprise Solutions and Services unit, a division of Lockheed's Information Systems and Global Services.

As senior technical operations executive, Land will provide senior management across the company's many information technology programs with the aim of improving program performance and meeting the needs of the company's federal customers, Lockheed said.

Land previously was technical director of enterprise initiatives in the engineering division of Lockheed Integrated Systems and Solutions in Endicott, N.Y., working with Air Force, Transportation Command and other Defense Department customers.

Over his 22 years at Lockheed Martin, Land has also served as technical director and chief architect for IS&S Enterprise and Logistics Solutions among other positions, including stints at Lockheed Martin Systems Integration in Owego, N.Y. and UK Government Systems in Portsmouth, England.

Lockheed Martin of Bethesda, Md., ranks No. 1 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
