Who's on first?


Terry Ryan joined Mercury Computer Systems Inc., Chelmsford, Mass., as senior vice president and general manager of the company's federal government business. Ryan is a former Marine Corps officer and Defense Department intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems director.

Robert Henry was named to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer at Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla. Henry, formerly executive vice president and president of Harris' government communications systems division, will continue to oversee its government business.

Jeff Gronberg joined Analytical Services Inc., Huntsville, Ala., as vice president of the company's aerospace engineering business unit. Gronberg most recently managed an engineering and analysis business unit at Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc.

William McVay joined G&B Solutions Inc., McLean, Va., as executive vice president of management consulting. McVay most recently was general manager of BAE Systems Inc.'s strategic consulting services for federal agencies.

Bob Dinkel joined JB Cubed Inc., Herndon, Va., as executive vice president for federal business. Dinkel most recently was alliances director at CA Inc.'s federal division.

Greg Chapman joined Daon Inc., Reston, Va., as senior vice president of sales for the Americas. Chapman most recently worked at Oracle Corp.

David Sweet joined DRS Technologies Inc., Parsippany, N.J., as vice president of environmental health and safety. Sweet most recently was vice president and associate general counsel for environmental health and safety at L-3 Communications Inc.

Brad Gandee joined GigaMedia Access Corp., Herndon, Va., as vice president of product marketing and management. Gandee most recently was the technical evangelist for ContentGuard Inc.

Tiffanny Gates, president of the Emerging Technologies Group USA, joined the board of directors of the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum, Vienna, Va. Gates is a former naval officer and served tours at the Naval Security Group and the National Security Agency.

Samir Gulati joined Appian Inc., Vienna, Va., as vice president of marketing. Gulati most recently was vice president of global marketing at Pegasystems Inc.

Eric Shealy joined Boston investment bank Innovation Advisors Inc. as a managing director. Shealy most recently led the technology practice at Covington Associates LLC.

Marv Sambur has been named to the board of directors at unmanned aircraft systems developer Proxy Aviation Systems Inc., Germantown, Md. Sambur, a former assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition, is a professor at the University of Maryland's A. James Clark Engineering School.

William Sieglein joined Apptis Inc., Chantilly, Va., as senior director of the commercial division, focusing on information technology risk management services. Sieglein most recently was chief security officer at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Inc.


At General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va.: Randy Collins to vice president, financial planning and analysis; and Henry Eickelberg to vice president, human capital processes.

At Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla.: Jeremy Wensinger to group president, government communications systems, leading the company's civil and intelligence agency programs, and technical services programs; and Daniel Pearson to group president, defense communications and electronics, leading the company's Defense Department, radio frequency communications and international systems programs.

At Secure Elements Inc., Herndon, Va.: H. Michael Smith to federal-sector sales director.

At Vion Corp., Washington: Bob Bruce to vice president of federal sales; Roseanne Cinnamond to vice president of marketing and proposals; Carl Fulp to vice president of systems engineering and professional services; Jim Preissner to vice president and chief technology officer; and Mike Wooten to vice president of customer support.
