Maximus gets software deal with Cleveland courts

Maximus Inc. will supply the Cleveland Municipal Court with case management software and related services.

Maximus Inc. will supply the Cleveland Municipal Court with case management software and related services through a contract worth more than $6 million.

Under the contract, Maximus of Reston, Va., will implement its CourtView case management system for the Cleveland Municipal Court's small claims, civil, criminal and traffic courts. The court serves 1.6 million citizens in its jurisdiction.

The system also will meet the needs of the City Prosecutor and Adult Probation department.

Maximus also provides justice-related technology to 150 other Ohio courts. The company has 5,200 employees and had annual sales of $701 million in 2006.
