Medicaid fiscal agent

The Maine Human Services Department wants a contractor to furnish a new Medicaid management information system and provide fiscal-agent services. A request for proposals is expected this summer.

The winning contractor will provide a system to enroll providers and handle data entry, resolution and quality assurance related to claims processing.

Consolidate call center

The New Jersey Treasury Department wants a contractor to consolidate the state's 911 system. An RFP is expected in late 2007.

The existing system is overbuilt with about 200 primary and 100 secondary call centers.

The state wants to consolidate the centers to save money and improve public safety because small call centers are easily overwhelmed in a crisis.

Registered traveler

Denver International Airport wants a contractor to provide a registered traveler program. An RFP is expected this spring.

The system would reduce wait times at security checkpoints and cover management of passenger lines, verification of passenger intent to travel and operation of the registered traveler program.
