A request for proposals is expected in May.The contractor should deliver a data-sharing system similar to the one in Utah so that Colorado can use open-source software from that project. The system will enable law enforcement employees throughout the state to access and analyze information stored in records management systems regardless of where they are located.The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry wants a contractor to provide an electronic licensing system. An RFP is expected this summer.The contractor should deliver a system that offers a scaleable framework for electronic licensing and permitting.
