ManTech wins $89M anti-terrorism deal

ManTech International Corp. won a seven-year, $89.9 million contract to support anti-terrorism missions at the Defense Department.

ManTech International Corp. won a seven-year, $89.9 million contract to support anti-terrorism missions at the Defense Department.

ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will work to identify requirements and develop solutions for current and future counterterrorism needs of more than 50 government agencies.

The company's team includes Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego and Battelle Memorial Institute of Columbus, Ohio.

ManTech has more than 6,000 employees and had 2005 sales of $980.3 million.

The company ranks No. 21 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
