Merlin International Inc., an IT consulting, sales and services company, has reorganized its government business into three divisions to better match up with what the company sees as the needs of its customers.

"This restructuring strengthens Merlin's position in the market by enabling key teams to focus on growing our core competencies," said David Phelps, CEO and president of Merlin, Greenwood Village, Colo.

The three divisions are Enterprise Solutions, Special Programs and Technology Systems. Gregory Feldman has been brought in to lead the Technology Systems Division.

The division will be Merlin's reseller unit, helping technology companies reach the government market. The unit is based in Vienna, Va.

The Enterprise Solutions Division will provide customers with consulting and systems integration services, while Special Projects will serve national security and defense agencies.

Merlin is No. 1 on Washington Technology's 2005 and 2006 Fast 50 list, which ranks the fastest growing small businesses in the government IT market.
