DSA secures defense net-centric services deal

Data Systems Analysts Inc. will deliver program management support for net-centric enterprise initiatives at the Defense Information Systems Agency through a $15.6 million contract.

Data Systems Analysts Inc. will deliver program management support for net-centric enterprise initiatives at the Defense Information Systems Agency through a $15.6 million contract.

Under the contract, DSA of Philadelphia, Pa., will help the agency's Net-Centric Enterprise Services program management office develop a net-centric environment for the military services.

The company will furnish analysis and research expertise, design and construct architectures for management services, and help create various user testing scenarios.

The Net-Centric Enterprise Services program was established by the Office of the Secretary of Defense to provide enterprise support of the Global Information Grid. Through the grid, users can process information resources for warfighters, policy makers and support personnel.

DSA offers systems and software engineering and integration services to the public and private sectors for program management, information security, identity management and regulatory compliance.
