IBM closes MRO buy ? ManTech seals GRS deal ? SRA kicks up deal-making ? Lockheed finishes PAE buy

IBM Corp. has completed its acquisition of MRO Software Inc. of Bedford, Mass., for $740 million in an all-cash transaction.The purchase, which Big Blue will integrate into its Tivoli software business, will bolster IBM's position in the service-oriented architecture and asset management market.IBM plans a 2007 release of Tivoli software that uses MRO's software.ManTech International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., completed its acquisition of counter-terrorism services provider GRS Solutions Inc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.More than 90 percent of Falls Church, Va.-based GRS' employees have high-level clearances. The company generated annual revenue for fiscal 2006 of more than $10 million.SRA International Inc. is revving up its acquisition engine again. The Fairfax, Va., systems integrator will acquire RABA Technologies LLC, a contractor in the intelligence space.Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but RABA of Columbia, Md., has about $60 million in annual revenue and 200 employees.RABA brings expertise in mathematics, software and electrical engineering, high-performance computing infrastructure, storage management, disaster recovery, information security, Web development, and interactive technologies.Lockheed Martin Corp. has completed its acquisition of Pacific Architects and Engineers Inc., a provider of services for the military, peacekeeping missions, nation-building activities, personnel recruitment and training and disaster relief efforts. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Renamed PAE, the California company is now part of Lockheed Martin's information and technology services unit.
