Telos to set up Coast Guard messaging system

Telos Corp. won a four-year contract, potentially worth more than $3 million, to deliver its automated messaging system for the Coast Guard.

Telos Corp. won a four-year contract, potentially worth more than $3 million, to deliver its automated messaging system for the Coast Guard.

Telos of Ashburn, Va., will install and furnish operations and maintenance support for the Web-based system, which will let more than 45,000 users access a secure messaging infrastructure without requiring additional external identification. The Defense Department already uses Telos' automated messaging system.

Telos Corp. offers IT solutions and services to the federal government. Its other government clients include all branches of the military, intelligence agencies, the Agriculture and Homeland Security departments, IRS, the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Courts.
