Picture thisDon't look twice, that's real money on those trees ? $2,000 in $2 bills, to be exact. The Telework Exchange, a public-private partnership focused on telework in the federal government, sponsored a "Time is Money, and Money Doesn't Grow on Trees ? Telework" event Aug. 16 in downtown Washington, encouraging commuters to pick $2 bills from the trees and learn how they can save by teleworking. A recent Telework Exchange study finds that when gas prices average $3.00 per gallon, the average full-time commuter spends $138.80 on gas per month.
