CACI International Inc. won a five year, $14.4 million recompeted prime contract from the Army National Guard to continue developing a software application for military construction.

The Web-based software, called the Project Documentation application, lets the Army National Guard provide documentation that Congress requires for funding new military construction projects.

Under the contract, CACI of Arlington, Va., will develop software and furnish maintenance services, help-desk support and training.

The Army original developed the Project Documentation application for the Army Reserve as part of an integrated series of applications called Engineering and Base Operations Support System. CACI tailored the application for the Army National Guard, taking the system from prototype to full production.

CACI has about 10,450 employees and had annual revenue of more than $1.6 billion for fiscal 2005. CACI ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
