SRA signs on for DHS program management task

SRA International Inc. won a task order from the Homeland Security Department to deliver program management services to the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility.

SRA International Inc. won a 45-month, $42.2 million task order from the Homeland Security Department to deliver program management services to the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility.

SRA's consulting practice, Touchstone Consulting Group, will furnish communications and outreach activities, legislative and budget analysis, and shareholder coordination. It also will be responsible for development services for strategy as well as standards and requirements.

SRA's team includes CSR Inc., G&H International Services Inc., Highlands Consulting Group LLC, R.H. Wohl & Associates Inc., and SogomiSet LLC.

DHS established the Office for Interoperability and Compatibility in 2004 to combine efforts to improve local, tribal, state and federal emergency preparedness and response programs and promote interoperability among them.

The task order was awarded under the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Service.

SRA of Fairfax, Va., has about 4,900 employees and had annual revenue of $881.8 million for the fiscal 2005. The company ranks No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
