Indus lodges protest over Eagle award
Indus Corp. filed a bid protest with the Government Accountability Office over the Homeland Security Department's massive Eagle IT services contracts.
Indus Corp. of Vienna, Va., has filed a bid protest over the Homeland Security Department's multibillion-dollar Eagle contracts for IT services.
The Eagle contracts, which allow winning vendors to compete for task orders by DHS components, could amount to as much as $45 billion over more than 10 years. The contracts were awarded June 29.
Indus spokesman Robert Blumenthal confirmed that his company had filed a bid protest with the Government Accountability Office recently.
DHS awarded Eagle contracts to 25 bidders and planned to issue comparable contracts to small-business bidders around July 31.
The contract's full name is Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge solutions.
