ITS hooks military hospital tech support deals

ITS Corp. won two contracts to deliver IT infrastructure support services to Army and Navy medical facilities.

ITS Corp. won two contracts totaling $9.2 million to deliver IT infrastructure support services to Army and Navy medical facilities.

Under an $8 million contract, ITS of Oxnard, Calif., will furnish local area network, help desk and Web and programming support to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center at several Navy medical facilities.

The company will deliver these services to the Naval Hospital Jacksonville and to naval clinics in Atlanta; Key West, Fla.; and other locations.

The contract was awarded under the General Services Administration's Millennia Lite contract.

Under a $1.2 million contract, ITS also will provide IT infrastructure support to Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Fort Sill, Okla.

Specifically, the company will supply information center and help desk support and maintain about 1,200 PCs and associated equipment.

It also will oversee a digital information network for picture archiving that manages imagery from patient diagnostic tests.

ITS, a privately held company, offers IT and engineering solutions to the military, intelligence and homeland security communities and other branches of the federal government.
