Dynamics Research gears up for Army transformation work

Dynamics Research Corp. won an Army contract to support the Training and Doctrine Command Analysis Center at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.

The contract, which is scheduled to begin July 1, is for one year and four option years. The contract could be worth up to $22 million over five years.

DRC of Andover, Mass., will assist with operation analysis, experimentation, warfighting scenarios, combat modeling and simulations, operational effectiveness analysis and planning, and decision aids. It also will take part in conducting studies and analysis to support Army needs associated with transformation, from doctrine and organization to training and personnel.

DRC has about 1,800 employees and annual sales of $300 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas. The company ranks No. 60 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of federal IT prime contractors.
