MTC enlists for Air Force program support work

MTC Technologies Inc. won task orders worth more than $18 million during the first quarter of the year from the Air Force Materiel Command in support of various weapon systems programs.

MTC Technologies Inc. won task orders worth more than $18 million during the first quarter of the year from the Air Force Materiel Command in support of various weapon systems programs. Of that sum, $13.1 million already has been funded, the company said.

Under the awards, MTC of Dayton, Ohio, will deliver a variety of technical and professional services, including acquisitions and logistics management, engineering services, and data configuration to Aeronautical Systems Center program offices as well as command divisions at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

The company also will furnish security, test and evaluation, and financial management services.

MTC has about 2,900 employees and had annual revenue of $373.3 million in fiscal 2005. The company No. 59 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors. Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list will be published May 15.
