CACI wins subcontract for Army resource management system

CACI International Inc. won a $15 million subcontract from Sigmatech Inc. to continue supporting an online resource management system for the Army Materiel Command.

CACI International Inc. won a $15 million subcontract from Sigmatech Inc. to continue supporting an online resource management system for the Army Materiel Command. The one-year contract has four option years.

The award continues CACI's expansion into the realm of financial management systems, the company said.

The Web-based RM Online system enables the Command to maintain an accurate, cost-effective programming, budget and execution processes. By using the system, the Command can post and access fully auditable budgets and run hypothetical scenarios to determined the impact of various budget and manpower adjustments.

The system is designed to interact with other Defense Department financial and manpower systems for better management of Army resources worldwide.

Sigmatech is a small business based in Huntsville, Ala.

CACI of Arlington, Va., has about 10,100 employees and had annual sales of $1.6 billion in fiscal 2005. The company ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
