Anteon lands Air Force software integration deal
Anteon International Corp. won an $18.7 million Air Force contract to improve the data base management of its weapons systems.
Anteon International Corp. won a 34-month, $18.7 million contract from the Air Force to provide support services and software integration for its weapon system life-cycle management solutions, the company said today.
Under the contract, Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will transfer data and integrate an improved product data management configuration process for weapons systems. The company also will expand the Air Force database by incorporating data on additional weapon systems.
Anteon will perform the work in Washington and at Hill, Tinker, Warner Robbins and Wright Patterson Air Force bases.
Anteon is an IT and systems engineering and integration company whose primary customer is the federal government. The company employs more than 9,500 workers worldwide and has annual revenue of almost $1.3 billion. It ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
