DRC engineers Marine Corps communications deal

Dynamics Research Corp. has won a $2.5 million contract from the Marine Corps to work on a secure, two-way communication solution, the company announced today.
The contract is for the joint services configurable automatic telephone switch and subscriber service, Tri-Service Tactical Switchboard, currently deployed by Marines worldwide.
DRC's Memory Circuit Card Assembly will replace the Solid State Bulk Storage Unit card in the tactical switchboard, the link that creates timely, secure two-way communications between command authorities and their tactical fighting forces.
The contract was awarded by the Marine Corps Systems Command, Albany, Ga.
DRC of Andover, Mass., has 1,960 employees and annual sales of $265.7 million. The company ranks No. 69 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
