Northrop Grumman finishes Integic buy
The two Top 100 companies announced in February Northrop's definitive agreement to buy privately held Integic.
Northrop Grumman Corp completed its acquisition of technology firm Integic Corp., the company said today.
Northrop Grumman Corp. announced Feb. 18 that it had signed a definitive agreement to buy privately held Integic. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Integic is now part of Northrop Grumman's federal enterprise solutions business unit in the company's information technology sector in McLean, Va. The defense conglomerate acquired Integic to increase its offerings in enterprise health IT systems, human resources systems and business process management solutions.
Based in Chantilly, Va., Integic offers IT solutions in enterprise health and business process management. The company employs more than 600 workers and had 2004 revenue of $161 million. It ranks No. 59 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Northrop Grumman is No. 2 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list. The company employs more than 125,000 workers and had 2004 revenue of about $29.9 billion. Its IT division offers solutions and business services for government and commercial clients.
