RGS to provide business process, IT services to Navy

RGS Associates Inc. gets five-year, $26 million contract to offer programmatic, business process management and technical support.

The Navy has hired RGS Associates Inc. of Arlington, Va., to provide IT and other services across the Chief of Naval Operations division.

The company was awarded a five-year, $26 million contract to offer programmatic, business process management and technical support to the Chief of Naval Operations office.

RGS also will provide business process analysis, migration planning, portfolio management, knowledge and records management, and strategic planning services to support the director of Navy staff CIO.

Part of RGS' role under the contract entails supporting the Navy in applying the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet infrastructure to reduce legacy applications, develop and deploy enterprise business solutions, and improve corporate business processes across the CNO staff, according to a company release.
