The Florida Department of Children and Families is seeking vendors to provide rapid application-development capabilities, data integration and Web-based applications for an alternate development environment. An RFP is expected in April.

The requirements include the ability to interface with existing applications and to access data on other platforms and environments to facilitate information sharing. The vendor also will provide a performance database to support real-time updating, storage and retrieval of millions of records by thousands of concurrent users.
