Ascential Software, Merlin Technical team for reselling
Merlin Technical Solutions Inc. will provide data integration services to its clients using Ascential Software Corp.'s Enterprise Integration Suite.
Ascential Software Corp. entered into a reseller agreement with Merlin Technical Solutions Inc., company officials announced.
Under the agreement, Merlin will provide data integration services to its clients using the Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite.
Using Ascential's software Merlin will focus on common tasks in the public sector such as running compute-intensive jobs, attempting to consolidate expenditures and ensuring the validity of electronic transactional data.
"The design of typical siloed government organizations and systems creates barriers to sharing information," said META Group analyst Scott Bittler.
The agreement is designed to address that issue.
Ascential is based in Westboro, Mass., and Merlin has offices in Greenwood Village, Colo. and McLean, Va.
