FTI wins $2 million HUD contract

Future Technologies Inc. won a $1.9 million contract from the Housing and Urban Development Department.

Future Technologies Inc. of Fairfax, Va., won a $1.9 million contract from the Housing and Urban Development Department, the company recently announced.

FTI will determine the allocation of more than $3 billion in public housing operating subsidies that support more than 3,100 public housing agencies.

The firm, fixed-price contract is for one year and one optional year. Large systems integrator BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., is a subcontractor to FTI, a small business.

BearingPoint will assist FTI with tasks associated with legislative compliance and negotiated rules making, according to FTI officials.

FTI has expertise in information technology, software development technologies, program management, financial management analysis, training, logistics planning and systems integration. Its customers include the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, U.S. Special Operations Forces System Acquisition Center, Joint Special Operations Center and Pope Air Force Base.
