California has issued a request for information for a statewide voter registration database system. At this stage, the state wants advice and analysis from industry to develop a feasibility study. The information will be used to develop alternatives and estimate costs of building the database.

California has issued a request for information for a statewide voter registration database system. At this stage, the state wants advice and analysis from industry to develop a feasibility study. The information will be used to develop alternatives and estimate costs of building the database.

The system will store and manage an official list of voters, and will assign a unique identifier to each registered voter. It will replace Calvoter and will comply with the Help America Vote Act.
