SRA to help DOD with human resources studies

SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $20 million contract from the Defense Department to support the Defense Manpower Data Center with survey research and statistical analysis.

SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $20 million contract from the Defense Department to support the Defense Manpower Data Center with survey research and statistical analysis, the company said today.

The center administers the Human Resources Strategic Assessment program that includes evaluations, research and studies related to Defense Department personnel policies and programs. The information is used to create, monitor and improve policies and programs related to employee compensation, benefits and readiness.

SRA will provide survey design, data collection and management, and statistical analysis services.

SRA's project team includes Calibre Systems Inc. of Alexandria, Va.; Human Resources Research Organization of Alexandria, Va.; the Lewin Group Inc. of Falls Church, Va.; Logistics Management Institute of McLean, Va., and Westat Inc. of Rockville, Md.

Fairfax, Va.-based SRA provides IT services and solutions to federal government agencies and is No. 31 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors. It employs approximately 3,400 workers and had revenue of $615.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30.
